Time for another TRAFFIC RANT

I have a rather quick Rant to throw out there and I'm sure you guys will all agree with me.

If you turn on your blinker AFTER you've slammed on your brakes and come to almost a complete stop in front of me IT DOESN'T DO IT'S JOB.

4 times this weekend this happened to me. Someone on a road that doesn't have room for me to go around them or for them to be on the shoulder slows to a stop while I'm thinking "what the fuck are you doing?! It's a 55 mph road!!". Then throws on their blinker for 2 blinks as they round the corner to a side street.

Listen people. It's a blinker or a "turn indicator". The reason for it is so that people around you know what the fuck you're doing. If you don't turn it on until you're already turning - you're using it wrong. You might as well not even use it at that point because you're already stopped.

And to the 2 out of 4 that had 2 brake lights out on top of not using your blinker you are asshats, gigantic annoying asshats.

Did I almost hit any of you? No, because I pay attention while I'm driving, but how many 16 year olds texting a way while driving (despite it being illegal) are not paying close enough attention.

COME ON! Honestly, I find it more annoying when they turn it on for a quick 2 blink after stopping then just not using it at all. The "not using it at all" guy just doesn't care. These guys cared to use the blinker but are too stupid to use it in a way that is even remotely useful.

I would rather have the "2 blink guy" than a person not using it at all, because at least you know they are turning or changing lanes intentionally, and not just falling asleep at the wheel.

You're correct. I had been thinking I was off on lights count *and* trunklid strip, but the 62 was the only one with 2 each. '63+ Comets *did* have three.
